Through the minimal act of enclosing, overlapping, or creasing two objects, the work creates an entity that we can recognize as a body in a subtle way.
At the point where the order generated by objects acquires the sensation of the body, the work captures the possibility that what we define as "body" is grafted onto an order of objects that is not a human representation. - write on the note
This work is another series of Folding Kiki, created to form another peripheral aspect of 'Kiki' by combining similar materials and varied arrangements of objects.
The directness of the form makes it immediately evocative of the object being struck by it.
Connecting objects of different heights with a pounding image evokes our morphological connections with its structure.
